Reasons for Recommendations and Background: An increase in the scope of work resulted in additional material for two existing contract items. Additional aggregate base and asphalt concrete were needed in order to complete the project. IV. Consequences of Negative Action: The lack of approval would preclude payment for work performed by the contractor in good faith.
