RESOLUTION HONORING RESOLUTION NO. 20OV131
YVONNE HENSLEY FOR HER
14 YEARS OF SERVICE TO
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY
WHEREAS, YVONNE HENSLEY began working for Contra Costa County on
November 19, 1987, serving as a Social Worker; and
WHEREAS, YVONNE HENSLEY was soon recognized for her ability to give equal attention to
the large number of clients she saw each day. Yvonne was always willing to make an extra effort,
even if it meant working late or weekends; and
WHEREAS, YVONNE HENSLEY in 1990 initiated a small scale shared housing program, which
in thanks to Yvonne, many single people and couples were able to successfully find housing; and
WHEREAS, YVONNE HENSLEY is highly respected by her coworkers and supervisors, she is a
team player who is always willing to go the extra mile. She treats all people fairly and respectfully,
her superior social work skills have gained her a reputation for being an outstanding worker and client
advocate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County
does hereby wish
Passed by a unanimous vote of the Board of Supervisors present this 3rd day of April 2001.
