Ill. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
On August 15, 2000, the Board of Supervisors authorized a Preapplication in the amount of$315,000,
for an Airport Master Plan and Business Plan at Byron Airport. Submittal of the final Application and
Acceptance of said Grant are the final steps in the process.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
The Airport would not receive Grants from the FAA (90%) and CALTRANS Airport Improvement
Project funds (4.5%), which would result in the Airport Enterprise Fund funding the entire costs of the
Master Plan and Business Plan totaling $350,000.
