HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03272001 - C.9 CA .9` RESOLUTION HONORING RESOLUTION NO. 2001/103 ALICE WEED-CANALE FOR HER 27 YEARS OF SERVICE TO CONTRA COSTA COUNTY WHEREAS, ALICE WEED-CANALE began working for Contra Costa County in October of 1973, serving as a Worker in the Aid to Families with Dependent Children unit; and WHEREAS, ALICE WEED-CANALE reached the highest, non-supervisory classification in the eligibility worker series by April of 1980 and was responsible for handling complex and specialized caseloads; and WHEREAS, ALICE WEED-CANALE continued to expand her knowledge and responsibilities for Contra Costa County serving as a Information Technology Systems Analyst developing and implementing new automated systems and changes to existing systems. In 1995, Alice was promoted to Senior Systems Analyst where her primary responsibility was the support and maintenance of the Welfare Case Data System; and WHEREAS, ALICE WEED-CANALE and her husband Fred, enjoy serving as ushers at the Dean Lesher Regional Center for the Arts. Alice enjoys reading,bocce ball, sewing, playing cards and keeping the fashion industry in business! WHEREAS, ALICE WEED-CANALE along with her husband will spend much of her retired life near the-beach in Hawaii.
