LEASE AND APPROVAL OF EXTENSION OF SUBLEASE (BLDG T00578)
SPECIFIC REQUESTS OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDATION
EXERCISE a one year option to extend the lease with Dolan Foster Enterprises, Inc. and
APPROVE a one year extension of Sublease with Pre-School Coordinating Council, effective
April 1, 2001, for the premises at 2711 A&B Willow Pass Road, Bay Point, for continued use by
the Family Preservation Program.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT
Expenses for rental payment and building expenses budgeted within the Employment and
Human Services Department. Revenue sublease-annual revenues equal to the rental
Payments are credited to EHS.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND
Provide for continuation of the Family Preservation Program as requested by EHS. The County
has a Master Lease for the Premises with Dolan Foster Enterprises, Inc. and then subleases the
Premises to Pre-School Coordinating Council to operate the Family Preservation Program.

The County has an option to extend the above lease as follows:
OCCUPANT: EMPLOYMENT & HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT
DEPARTMENT. Premises subleased by County to Pre-School Coordinating Council for
operation of the Family Preservation Program.
RENT: $ 1,225.00 per month.
TERM: One year, commencing April 1, 2001-March 31, 2002.
OPTION: Yes. Two one year extensions remaining.
PREVIOUS RENT: $1,190.00 per month.
SQUARE FEET: 1,800 sq.ft.
SPACE TYPE: General office.
LESSOR RESPONSIBILITY: Roof, structural integrity, building exterior and grounds.
