SUBJECT: APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director to sign a consulting
services agreement with Vestra Resources, Inc. to conduct a study of the
mapping operations of the Public Works Department and the Assessor's office.
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director to execute a consulting services
agreement with Vestra Resources, Inc. in the amount $49,600.00.
II. Financial Impact:
None. The study is being funded through the Productivity Investment Fund.

III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
The Public Works Department and Assessor's Office both maintain mapping products. The
consultant will study the two operations and try to find ways to streamline the operations to
eliminate redundancy.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
If the agreement is not approved we will lose the opportunity to streamline and consolidate the
mapping operations of the Public Works Department and the Assessor's Office.
