SUBJECT: ADVISORY COUNCIL ON AGING VACANCY
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)8 BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATION:
On behalf of the Advisory Council on Aging, it is recommended that the Board of
Supervisors take the following action:
Declare vacant the Group 2 seat on the Advisory Council representing the Retired Senior
Volunteer Program held by E. R. Riggall, and request the Clerk of the Board's policy for
filling this vacancy. Dr. Riggall's term of office expires September 30, 2002..
JUSTIFICATION:
Dr. Riggall has resigned from the Advisory Council, and it is necessary to fill this
vacancy in an effort to bring the Advisory Council to its required number of active
members.
