SUBJECT: Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #25-017-2 with
James Andrew Wicker
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATION(S) :
Approve and authorize the Health Services Director or his designee
(Wendel Brunner, M.D. ) to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
Amendment Agreement #25-017-2 with James Andrew Wicker, effective
January 15, 2001, to amend Contract #25-017-1, to increase the
payment limit by $7, 600, from $52 , 400 to a new Contract payment
limit of $60, 000 .
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded by County Funds .
BACKGROUND/REASON(S) FOR RECOMMENDATION(S) :
On September 12 , 2000, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract
#25-017-1 with James Andrew Wicker for the period from September 1,
2000 through August 31, 2001, for the provision of consultation and
technical assistance to the Department with regard to coordination
of County' s Shelter Plus Care Program.
Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #25-017-2 will allow the
Contractor to provide an additional level of service, including
consultation and technical assistance to the Department with regard
to County' s Supportive Housing Programs through August 31, 2001 .
