THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
Adopted this Order on March 20, 2001 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Gioia, Gerber, DeSaulnier, Glover and Uilkema
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
SUBJECT: Grant Permission to completely Close a portion of La Paloma Road, for the Purpose
of constructing road improvements for subdivision number 7451, in the El Sobrante
area.

IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that permission is granted to Jedco to completely close
a portion of La Paloma Road, except for emergency traffic, for three consecutive days (weather
permitting) between the dates of March 21, 2001 and April 11, 2001. The closure will be for a
contiguous 72-hour period (three 24-hour days) subject to the following conditions:
1. Traffic will be detoured via neighboring streets per traffic control plan approved by the
County Public Works Department.
2. All signing to be in accordance with the State of California Manual of Traffic Controls.
3. Jedco shall comply with the requirements of the Ordinance Code of Contra Costa County.
4. Have on file with the County a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of$1,000,000 for
Comprehensive General Public Liability, which names the County as an additional insured.
5. Obtain approval for the closure from the Sheriff s Department, the California Highway Patrol
and the Fire District.
6. Jedco shall notify the Sheriff s Department, the California Highway Patrol, the Fire District
and the County Public Works Department two (2) working days prior to the actual date of
the closure.
