I2 FC{�� �,ATION APPROVE Change Order No. 6 to the Contract dated May 4, 1999 for construction of Site Improvements for Head Start Classroom Expansion at Various County Sites,with Ramlor Construction, Inc., and AUTHORIZE the Director of General Services to execute the Change Order, which provides driveway, parking lot and pedestrian walkway lighting at the George Miller.Head Start Site, 3080 Grant Street, Concord, and increases the Contract Price by$36,861.51. II. MLN IAL IMPACT There are sufficient funds in the plant acquisition account to cover the Change Order. III. Lighting must be added to provide safety and security for County staff and the public. This Change Order adds that lighting to the construction contract. Description: Add outdoor lighting at the George Miller Site, Concord as shown on the attached drawing. Reason for Change: Design Deficiency. The original contract drawing do not show outdoor lighting at the George Miller Site. Community Services Department requires lighting for safety and security.
