Barry, AICD Community Development Director DATE: May 2 , 2000 SUBJECT: CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH SPONAMORE ASSOC FOR CONTINUED WORK TO PREPARE EIR FOR THE CAMINO TASSAJARA COMBINED GENERAL AMENDMENT PLAN AMENDMENT STUDY (GP#980004 :BRADDOCK & LOGAN INTERVENING PROPERTIES AND GP#990002/990003: ALAMO CREEK) (Contract # C46925-00) SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDATIONS Authorize the Community Development Director or his designee to execute a contract amendment with Sponamore Assoc. in the amount of$108,325.00 (which includes $25,000.00 for a contingency fund) for continued work to prepare EIR for the Camino Tassajara combined general amendment plan amendment study(GP#980004:Braddock&Logan intervening properties and GP#990002/990003: Alamo Creek)through project completion. This amendment, effective April 1, 2000, increases the contract amount from $275,000.00 to $383,325.00. FT, _AT, IMPACT None. The costs for preparation of the Environmental Impact Report will be covered through fees paid by the applicants. This amendment would allow an additional $108,325.00 for this contract. This amount includes a contingency fund of $25,000.00 for possible cost overruns.
