These members - Philip Arndt, Doris Dorris, Sandra Jacobsen, Jane Kapphahn, Karen Lassell, Joan Means, Ron Pipa and Virginia Richardson - have been actively involved in the LPC, serving on subcommittees as well as attending regular meetings. All wish to continue to serve on the Local Planning Council for Child Care and Development. The LPC passed a motion supporting reappointment at its meeting on March 23, 2000. Appointments to the LPC are subject to the approval of the Board of Supervisors and County Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Joe Ovick.
