HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04042000 - C.29 C.29 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on April 4, 2000, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Gioia, Uilkema, DeSaulnier, Canciamilla and Gerber NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Subject: Introduction of Ordinance 2000-15 (Treasurer's Investment Officer- Exempt) IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED THAT the attached ordinance 2000-15, amending the Ordinance Code of Contra Costa County as indicated is INTRODUCED, reading WAIVED and April 18, 2000 is FIXED as the time for adoption of same: SECTION I: Section 33-5.397 of the County Ordinance Code is amended to change the title of chief investment officer-exempt to assistant county treasurer- exempt, and to exclude the treasurer's investment officer-exempt to read: 33-5.397. (a) The assistant county treasurer-exempt is excluded and is appointed by the.treasurer-tax collector. I hereby certify that this is a true and correct copy of an action taken and entered on the minutes of the Board of Supervisors on the date shown. Attested:April 4, 2000 Phil Batchelor,Clerk of the Board of Supervisors and County Administrator Deputy Clerk ORDINANCE NO. 2000- 15 (Assistant County Treasurer---Exempt,Treasurer's Investment Officer 6- Exempt) The Contra Costa County Beard of Supervisors ordains as follows(omitting the parenthetical footnotes from the official text of the enacted or amended provisions of the County Ordinance Code): SECTION I: Section 33-5.397 of the County Ordinance Code is amended to change the title of chief investment officer-exempt to assistant county treasurer-exempt,and to exclude the treasurer's investment officer—exempt to read: 33-5.397. (a) The assistant county treasurer — exempt is excluded and is appointed by the treasurer-tax collector. (b) The treasurer's investment officer — exempt is excluded and is appointed by the treasurer-tax collector.(Ord. 2000-15, § 1,Ord. 92-14, § 1.) SECTION II: EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance becomes effective 30 days after passage, and within 15 days ofpassage shall be published once with the names ofthe supervisors voting for and against it in the , a newspaper published in this County.
