Because of increased time commitments I feel that it is not fair to my fellow commissioners that I continue to serve without being able to commit myself to the tasks of the Commission and I therefore must resign. I would like to thank you and the Commission for the opportunity to have served on this Commission for the past five years. I met many interesting people and enjoyed the projects that we worked on. I wish that I could have continued as a member, but in the past few months, 1 have been under pressure from many different commitments I have made and it is clear to me now that 1 over-committed myself. I need to concentrate on my academic performance. I want to thank my fellow commissioners for their commitment and their support of our efforts. I'm glad that I got to know them. On April 10, 2000, the Treasurer-Tax Collector presented the Internal Operations Committee with nominations for appointments and reappointments to the various seats on the TOC, including the Board of Supervisors seat and the three Public seats. The Internal Operations Committee was pleased with the high caliber of all the nominees and their knowledge of the field of public and private finance, and with their interest in serving the public in this capacity.
