(Assistant County Treasurer—Exempt,Treasurer's Investment Officer— Exempt)
The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors ordains as follows(omitting the parenthetical
footnotes from the official text of the enacted or amended provisions of the County Ordinance
Cade):
SECTION I: Section 33-5.397 of the County Ordinance Code is amended to change the title
of chief investment officer-exempt to assistant county treasurer-exempt,and to exclude the
treasurer's investment officer—exempt to read:
33-5.397. (a) The assistant county treasurer -- exempt is excluded and is
appointed by the treasurer-tax collector.
(b) The treasurer's investment officer — exempt is excluded and is
appointed by the treasurer-tax collector.(Ord. 2000-15,§ 1,Ord. 92-14,§ 1.)
SECTION II: EFFECME DATE. This ordinance becomes effective 30 days after passage,
and within 15 days ofpassage shall be published once with the names of the supervisors voting
for and against it in the Contra Costa Times a newspaper published
in this County.

AYES: Supervisors Gioia., Uilkema, DeSaulnier, Canciamilla and Gerber
