IN THE MATTER OF COMMENDING RESOLUTION No.2000/123
Jean O'Neill on her Retirement as Director of )
Ambulatory Care Nursing in the Division of )
Hospital and Health Centers of Contra Costa )
WHEREAS, Jean O'Neill has been a trusted and valued employee of Contra Costa Health
Services for more than 28 years, first as a Staff Nurse, Supervising.Nurse,Nursing Program
Manager and finally Director of Ambulatory Care Nursing in the Division of Hospital and Health
Centers and;
WHEREAS, ,lean O'Neill has provided exemplary service to patients and staff in her work at the
County's Medical Center and in the Ambulatory Care Health Centers and;
WHEREAS,Jean O'Neill has shown clear vision and steadfastness of purpose in leadership of
the ambulatory care nursing staff and;
WHEREAS,Jean O'Neill has been uncompromising in her quest for excellence in developing
and delivering services to the patients of Contra Costa County and;
WHEREAS, Jean O'Neill has contributed valuable advice and support as a member of the
Health Services Department's administrative team.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa
County does honor and recognize the commitment and service provided by Jean O'Neill, and
extends its sincere gratitude and good wishes to her in a most deserved retirement.
PASSED by unanimous vote of the Board Members present on this 28`s day of March, 2000.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution entered in the minutes
of the Board of Supervisors on the aforesaid date.
