Donaghue ("Donaghue"), which submitted the lowest apparent bid, having notified the County that a clerical error was made in said bid and that Donaghue is unable to perform the project work; and having requested to be relieved of its bid; and Page Construction Company ("Page"), which submitted the second lowest apparent bid, having notified the County that a clerical error was made in said bid and that Page is unable to perform the project work., and having requested to be relieved of its bid; and The bidder listed first above, P. J. Patrick M. Donaghue of Benicia, who submitted the low bid. of $559,000.00, has notified the Director or General Services that their bid contained a clerical error. For this reason, it is recommended that they be allowed to withdraw their bid and that their bid bond be exonerated. Page Construction Company of Novato, who submitted the second low bid of$628,840.00, has notified the Director of General Services that their bid contained a clerical error. For this reason, it is recommended that they be allowed to withdraw their bid and that their bid bond be exonerated. It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors award the construction contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, P. J.
