Funds are available in the Sheriffs Office budget for this increase. BACKGROUND: The County has contracted With Dennis Mallory for several years to conduct background investigations on applicants for safety positions Within the Sheriff's Office, Recruitment efforts have increased, necessitating additional investigation. The Contractor is Willing and able to increase his Workload. BACKGROUND/REASON(S) FOR RECOMMENDATlg14AS): Michele Minihan has been with CCTV as a contractor for several years. She has assisted with several productions by acting as producer, director and editor. Her contract had been amended to $24,000. But, because of increased production hours, she will exceed this amount by the end of April. Since increasing the contract to $30,000 requires Board approval, staff requests that this amendment be approved.
