BARRY, AICP COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR DATE: May 18, 1999 SUBJECT: Correction to General Plan findings map to reflect a Commercial designation along Acme Street (north side between Norcross Lane & O'Hara Avenue) in the Oakley area (GP95-0005) SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDATIONS AUTHORIZE a correction to the General Plan/Specific Plan findings map to reflect a Commercial designation along the north side of Acme Street between Norcross Lane and O'Hara Avenue in the Oakley area. FISCAL IMPACT None BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECt?MMENDATI NS On June 24, 1997, the Board of Supervisors adopted the Oakley/Old Town Specific Plan and General Plan Amendment. Although the text in the recommendation called for this area to be commercial, the findings map incorrectly showed it as Single Family a High.
