ADOPT Resolution as the Governing Body of the Contra Costa County Redevelopment
Agency approving the conveyance of surplus real property in the Pleasant Hill BART Stations
Area to the County of Contra Costa for road purposes.
FISCAL IMPACT
None. No general funds or general funds assets are involved.
BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS
As a condition of development approval for the Coggins Square Apartments/Townhouse
project various road frontage improvements need to be constructed. These improvements will
be part of the public right of way and need to be conveyed to the County of Contra Costa, in
order to ultimately be accepted as part of the County maintained vote system.

Pleasant Hill BART Station/Walnut Creek Area
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, as the governing Body of the
Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency, RESOLVES THAT.
Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency acquired certain real property by
Grant Deed recorded on February 28, 1992, in Book 17269 at page 609, Contra Costa
County Records, as described in Exhibits "A," "B-1" and "B-2" attached hereto, for
redevelopment purposes. As a condition of development for the Coggins Square project,
various road frontage improvements have been constructed on said property. Therefore,
said property is DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer necessary for redevelopment
purposes and is required by Contra Costa County for road purposes.
This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of said property
to Contra Costa County, pursuant to Government Code Section 25365, and the Board
Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a grant Deed on behalf of the Redevelopment
Agency conveying said rights to the County.
As governing body of Contra Costa County, this Board hereby ACCEPTS said
Grant Deed on behalf of the County and DIRECTS the Real Property Division to cause its
delivery to the County Recorder for recording.
