SUBJECT: NEW LEASE m 2520 Stanwell Drive, Suite 200, Concord WLP354
SPECIFIC REQUESTS OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
L RECOMMENDATION
APPROVE a Lease, Commencing June 1, 1999, with Fjeld Family Limited Partnership, for 2520
Stanwell Drive, Suite 200, Concord, for occupancy by the Community Services Department,
under the terms and conditions more particularly set forth in said Lease, and AUTHORIZE the
Director of General Services to EXECUTE said Lease on behalf of the County.
DETERMINE that the above project has Class la and Class 27 Categorical Exemptions under
the California Environmental Quality Act.
DIRECT the Community Development Department to file a Notice of Exemption with the County
Clerk.
DIRECT the Director of General Services to arrange for payment of the $25.00 handling fee to
the County clerk for filing of the Notice of Exemption.
Il. FINANCIAL IMPACT
Payments required are to come from the budget of the Community Services Department.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND
Provide for use of office space as required for Community Services.

TERM: 5 years COMMENCING: June 1, 1999
OPTION: 2 2-year at 3% rental increase per year

NOTICE: Gov. Code Section 25351 Notice to City of Concord on October 5, 1998.
AGENDA ITEM: Authorize the Director of General Services to execute a Lease with Fjeld

the Community Services Department. FIND that the project is a CQA class la Categorical
