This property was purchased from Mr. Nunn for future use by the County and the District. It was
planted in an apple orchard at the time of purchase and Mr. Nunn was allowed to cultivate and
harvest the apples as part of the consideration for the purchase. That lease term has expired and
the property is not required for County or District use for at least another three years. Mr. Nunn
wishes to continue to cultivate and harvest the apples and this orchard is;adjacent to a larger one
which he cultivates and is most efficiently farmed by him. The lease payments represent market
value for this type of property.
IV. ConsggjVnces of Negative Action:
County and District would have to forego the revenue or find another lessee willing to separate the
irrigation systems and cultivate this orchard separately.
