The building site is on land owned by the Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa, immediately adjacent to their Los Arboles Public Housing Project. The water service for this new building will not be taken from the adjacent Housing Project. Instead, the new building will obtain water via a separate service line, with a separate 518" water meter for the site. If you have any questions, please call me at (325)313-7258. Subject: Negative Declaration for Headstart Modular Building, Oakley Mike Yeraka Attorney. Dear Ms. Chamberlain: Fredadek Bold Jr. In reviewing your Negative Declaration for the subject project we noticed that you have indicated that water service exists to the site. We have no record of a waiter service being provided to the subject property. The Diablo Water District regulations require that no more than one premise be served through a single connection and meter. In order for your project to receive water service from Diablo 'Water District, you will need to install a separate service line and water meter for your project. I would suggest that you amend the Negative Declaration to reflect this requirement. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call. Sincerely, Mike Yeraka General Manager MY:II cc: Mr. Tim Erickson, Contra Costa County, General Services Department
