RECgMMENDEIJ_ACT'xCN: Approve and authorize the Health Services Director to execute on behalf of the County, Contract #23--242 with Michael J. Kent, for the period from May 1, 1998 through April. 30, 1999, in the amount of $52, 400, to provide ombudsperson program services for hazardous materials issues . I I . FINANCIAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded by Hazardous Materials Division funds. III . REASONS FOR RECi'3MMENDATI0NE/RACXgGR0UND: On July 15, 1997, the Board of Supervisors authorized the Health Services Director to establish an ombudsperson program for hazardous materials issues. Under Contract ##23-242, Michael J.
