BACKGROUND: ABAG has a Hazardous Waste Management Capacity AllocationCommittee. Its current charge is to implement the Green Business Program Bay Area-wide. In addition, the Committee monitors the volumes of hazardous waste being generated Bay Area-wide. The County is entitled to have a Supervisor sit on this Committee. It is also permissible for a staff member to represent the Supervisor as his or her alternate.
