I. Recommended Action:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director to EXECUTE,on behalf of the County, a First
Amendment to Lease between County and Byron Aviation Services Limited,under the terms and conditions
more particularly described in said First Amendment to Lease.
II. Financial lmpact:
There will be no financial impact from this action.

III. Reasons for&cummendations.and Background:
The County's lease with Byron Aviation Services Limited(Tenant)provided that the first phase of leasehold
improvements were to be completed by a specific date. The Tenant experienced several delays to its
construction schedule. This First Amendment to Lease will re-institute a construction schedule that provides
for the completion of the first phase of the leasehold improvements by October 1, 1998.
IV. Coate n est°f Negative Actions
The First Amendment to Lease with Byron Aviation Services Limited will not be executed.
