SF-468 AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION. SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION L RECOMMENDED ACTION: ADOPT Resolution No.4004 approving Section 8 Rental Certificate and Rental Voucher Program Annual Contributions Contract No. SF-468,as amended,and AUTHORIZING execution by the Chair of the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa. II. FINANCIAL IMPACT: Section 8 voucher replacement contract authority in the amount of$4,218,540 and budget authority in the amount of $4,218,540 has been obligated for increment number CAO 11 V00024. This new funding increment is to replace increments CAO 11 V00010,CAO 11 V00012,CAO 11 V00013,CAO 11 V00014 and CAO 11 V00016. The term is for one year. III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND The Housing Authority has received notification from the U.S.Department of Housing and Urban Development(HUD) that Section 8 voucher amendment funds have been reserved for increment number CAO 11 V00024,replacing increments CA011 V00010,CA011 V00012,CA011 V00013,CA011 V00014 and CA011 V00016. This replacement funding is for a one year term. To secure these funds for the Section 8 Program,it will be necessary for the Board of Commissioners to adopt Resolution No.4004. IV. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Should the Board of Commissioners elect not to adopt Resolution No.4004,the Housing Authority would lose this reserved replacement funding.
