SUBJECT: Sale of Surplus Real Property
Residential/Office Improvements at
805 Las Juntas Street, Martinez, CA
Project No. 5506-6G5107
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
The Board by Resolution No. 97/107 dated March 4, 1997, determined that the
County owned residential/office improvements described in said Resolution were surplus
and not needed for public use.
The Notice of Intention to Sell Real Property set 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 7,
1997, at 255 Glacier Drive, Martinez, California, as the time and place where oral bids
would be received and considered.
The highest bid received for the property, in accordance with the terms and
conditions of sale approved by this Board was $105.00 by David R. Fischer, at which time
the amount of $113.66 (including sales tax) was deposited to secure completion of the
transaction.
Said bid is hereby ACCEPTED and the Board Chair is AUTHORIZED to execute
a Bill of Sale to DAVID R. FISCHER for the property and AUTHORIZE the Public Works
Director to execute the Purchase Agreement with David R. Fischer and cause said Bill of
Sale to be delivered upon performance and compliance by the purchaser of all terms and
conditions set forth in the Agreement.

In consideration of the payment of the sum of One Hundred Thirteen and 66/100
Dollars ($113.66), receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the County of Contra Costa
does hereby sell to David R. Fischer, hereinafter referred to as the Purchaser, the
following described improvement:
Single-story, wood framed single family residence converted to office
use, consisting of five offices and a full bath, situated on the property
located at 805 Las Juntas Street, Martinez, California.
Purchaser accepts the property in an "as is" physical condition, with no warranty, express
or implied, on the part of the County as to any matter. Purchaser agrees that neither
Purchaser, his heirs, successors or assigns shall ever claim, have or assert any right or
action against County for any loss, damage or other matter arising out of or resulting from
the condition of the improvement, the sale of the improvement to Purchaser or anything
relating thereto.
Purchaser agrees to have the premises clear of all buildings, structures, and improvements
on or before July 6, 1997, unless said date is extended by Contra Costa County.
