SUBJECT: LEASE AMENDMENT - 1220 MORELLO AVENUE, MARTINEZ
SPECIFIC REQUESTS OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDED ACTION
APPROVE a Lease Amendment with AB Development Company for the premises at 1220 Morello
Avenue, Martinez, California, to modify the hold harmless clause in the Second Modification of
Lease dated May 19, 1992, and AUTHORIZE the Director of General Services to EXECUTE said
Lease Amendment on behalf of the County.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT
None.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS / BACKGROUND
The Lease Amendment will replace the existing hold harmless clause with an updated clause that
more accurately describes the County's responsibilities as sole occupant of the building.
