HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05201997 - C35 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY Adopted this Order on May 20,"?1997 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Rogers, Uilkema, Canciamilla, DeSaulnier NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisor Gerber ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: Amendment to Resolution 96/488 ) (Compensation and Benefits for County ) Resolution No. 971273 Officers, Managers and Unrepresented ) Employees From October 1, 1995 to ) September 30, 1999 ) THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RESOLVES THAT: The Board of Supervisors adopted the subject Resolution 96/488 on November 19, 1996; AND The County Human Resources Director proposes that said Resolution be amended as follows; NOW THEREFORE: The Contra Costa County Board-of Supervisors in its capacity as governing Board of the County of Contra Costa and all districts of which it is the ex-officio governing Board, RESOLVES THAT: Resolution 96/488 is amended, in part, to additionally provide: 1. Part II (Differentials) of Exhibit C 1995 - 1999 MANAGEMENT AND UNREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS SUPPLEMENT of Resolution 96/488 shall have included as new Section N, the following: N. Fire Services Emergency Recall and Standby Differential. A salary differential in the amount of five percent (5%) of monthly base salary shall be in effect for management personnel ,excluding the Fire Chief, in the Contra Costa, Orinda and Moraga Fire Protection Districts assigned to standby and emergency recall duty a minimum of two (2) weeks'each month. Such personnel assigned to standby and emergency recall for one (1) week in each four (4) consecutive weeks shall be eligible to receive a differential in the amount of two and one-half percent (2-1/2%) of monthly base salary.
