Dear Mark,
After much thought and consideration of the past months events, I
am resigning from the M-16 advisory committee.
It is for many reasons I came to this decision, but the most glaring one
would be my frustration in the overlapping of M-16 and CCIA.
Since the M-16 committee is an advisory one, my last bit of advice
would be that you dissolve M-16 and appoint a MAC committee to handle
all the issues relating to our community. There would no longer be the
constant struggle between the two groups, and with a MAC you would
appoint the members. I believe this would benefit you, your staff (and the
amount of time spent on petty issues) and our community tremendously.
It has been a pleasure working with Karen and Valerie. They are
valuable assets to your office. I thank you for the learning experience, and
the opportunity to serve on the committee for my community.
Sincerely,
Janine Puhger
