Professional Development. Reimbursement will be provided for up to $150 fiscal year for memberships in professional organizations, subscriptions to professional publications, aPA attendance fees at job- related professional development activities, job-related books electronic calendars and organizers, and software and hardware from a standardized County approved list or with Department Head approval, provided each employee complies with the provisions of the Computer Use and Security Policy adopted by the Board of Supervisors. Authorization for individual professional development reimbursement requests shall be made by the Department Head. Reimbursement will occur through the regular demand process with demands being accompanied by proof of payment (copy of invoice or canceled check). If this conforms with your understanding, please indicate agreement by signing in the space provided below.
