George Hamm Cara Rubinstein Hoxie Susan McCormick Annette Silva Helen Spencer Francoise Thimon Cindy Turner EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR ARTHUR C. MINER . / The PIC would be quite pleased to meet with the Board and/or its representatives to assist the Board in achieving the Board's goals, objectives and desired outcomes. It was commented that the consultant report appeared to lack goals, objectives and desired outcomes, being written with somewhat vague generalities. It was also commented that in most places where department functions have been combined, it has been done extremely carefully and that usually the PIC has been the lead in order to maintain the culture that exists within performance based accountability and in working with clients and prospective employees. It was also noted that the PIC (as an entity) had . not received any formal communique proposing a merger with the Social Service Department. Attached for your ready reference is a copy of the 17 June Executive Committee and PIC minutes. Sincerely, Arthur C.
