SUBJECT: LEASE - 94A MEDANOS AVENUE, BAYPOINT
SPECIFIC REQUESTS OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDED ACTION: APPROVE a lease with the Housing Authority of the County
of Contra Costa, for classroom space at 94A Medanos Avenue, Baypoint, for use by the
Community Services Department, under the terms and conditions more particularly set forth
in said lease, and AUTHORIZE the Director of General Services to EXECUTE said lease
on behalf of the County.
DETERMINE that the above project is not subject to the California Environmental Quality
Act pursuant to Section 15061 (b) (3) of Chapter 3 of the State CEQA Guidelines.
DIRECT the Community_ Development Department to FILE a Notice of Exemption with the
County Clerk.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT: The payments required are to come from the budget of the
Community Services Department.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND: This lease will provide space
for use by the Community Services Head Start Program as requested by the Community
Services Department.
