SUBJECT: LEASE AMENDMENT - 1333 PINE STREET, MARTINEZ
SPECIFIC REQUESTS OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDED ACTION
APPROVE a First Amendment to Lease for the Lease dated September 20, 1994, with the Oil,
Chemical, & Atomic Workers International Union, Local 1-5, for the premises at 1333 Pine Street,
Suites D, E, F, G & I, Martinez, occupied by the Public Defender, under the terms and conditions
more particularly set forth in said Lease and First Amendment to Lease, and AUTHORIZE the
Director of General Services to EXECUTE said First Amendment to Lease on behalf of the County.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT
Payments required are to come from the budget of the Public Defender.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND
Provide for additional office space as requested by the Public Defender.
