Currently, Subsurface Consultants Inc. is preparing a feasibility study regarding the geotechnical aspects for a flood control basin on the Pleasant Hill High School site. The Flood Control & Water Conservation District has made a good faith effort to hire a MBE/WBE consultant to perform this report. The department interviewed three consultants, two of which are WBE's, and has selected Subsurface Consultants Inc., to prepare this report. It will be necessary to increase the payment limit by $10,000 to cover the remaining work. IV. Consequences of Negative Action: Negative action would require the Public Works Department to hire a new consultant at additional cost which would also delay the project.
