HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06181996 - C2 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA �° 2 Adopted this Resolution on June 18, 1996, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Rogers, Bishop, DeSaulnier, Torlakson, Smith -NOES: None ABSENT: None RESOLUTION NO. 96/2Z3_ (Streets and Highways Code § 960) SUBJECT: Sale of Surplus Real Property Franklin Canyon Road Project No. W.O. 4327 Martinez Area The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: Contra Costa County acquired certain real property on October 30, 1970, in the Martinez area, described in Exhibit"A"attached hereto,for highway purposes. Said property is DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer necessary for County highway purposes. Pursuant to Streets and Highways Code Section 960, this Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the sale of said property as follows: PARCEL NUMBER GRANTEE PAYMENT X3-1, X3-2 GEORGE A. RAMMELL and $10,000 PAMELA A. RAMMELL X4 ARTHUR E. PACHECO and $ 5,000 SHIRLEY J. PACHECO, et al. The Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute Quitclaim Deeds to above Grantees on behalf of the County in consideration for the payment received in full of the estimated fair market value of the property. The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Quitclaim Deeds to be delivered to the Grantees. On February 6, 1996, by Resolution No. 96139 the Board DETERMINED that the project is exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act as a Class 12 Categorical Exemption. At the Board's direction a Notice of Exemption was filed and the $25.00 handling fee was paid to the County Clerk. This activity has been found to conform to the General Plan of the County as the surplus property will be merged with the adjacent parcels.
