RE: "PRESCRIPTION FOR CHANGE: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH' VIDEO
The Governor's proposed 1993/94 State Budget, if enacted, will be devastating for local
government services. racing this prospect, the California State Association of Counties and the
League of California Cities jointly developed the enclosed video, "Prescription for Change:
Enough is Enough." This 9-minute program includes numerous alternatives for the State to
consider in balancing its budget.
The brochure inside the video jacket outlines the principles jointly sponsored by CSAC and the
League. These principles include: local government restructuring, a multiyear expense control
plan, a discussion of proposed government efficiencies and revenue stabilization and
enhancement.
