K & B Request to Amend GP
June 4 , 1996
Page Two
BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMbENDATIONS JCON'T)
The property is located on High Street in Pacheco which is its
point of road access. The site backs up to the Contra Costa Canal
on the south.
The request is to consider a slightly higher residential density
than currently exists on the property. Staff feels this is a study
request which should be granted. If study authorization. is given
and the plan amendment fee is paid and after compliance with CEQA,
staff will then prepare a report on the merits of such a change for
consideration by the County Planning Commission. Their
recommendation will be forwarded to the Board for final decision.
