Also proposed is the construction of three ramps on Route 680, northbound on-ramp from Village Parkway, southbound on-ramp from Amador Plaza Road and southbound off- ramp to Amador Plaza Road. The project is located in the Cities of Pleasanton and Dublin in the County of Alameda. This project is needed to alleviate current and projected traffic congestion, to improve traffic operation and safety. A public meeting and hearing will be held in cooperation with Alameda County Transportation Authority (ALTA) to give the public an opportunity to express views and discuss design and environmental features of the proposed project with representatives of Caltrans and ALTA. The public meeting will be an open house to view project displays and talk with project personnel followed by a formal public hearing. A copy of the Initial Study/Environmental Assessment is enclosed for your review and comment. The deadline for comments is May 28, 1996 . You are cordially invited to attend this public meeting and hearing on Tuesday, May 14, 1996 from 5: 00 p.m. to 9 :00 p.m. at Amador Valley High School, Multipurpose Room, 1155 Santa Rita Road in the City of Pleasanton. The public hearing will begin at 7 : 00 p.m. Legislators, supervisors, representatives of interested local, State and Federal agencies and civic groups are invited to attend.
