MICHAEL WALFORD, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR DATE: APRIL 30, 1996 SUBJECT: BUCHANAN FIELD AIRPORT - LEASE WITH WELLS FARGO, N.A. SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION I. Recommended Action: APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director to EXECUTE, on behalf of the County, a lease with Wells Fargo, N.A. (Wells Fargo) for premises at the Buchanan Field Airport, Concord area. II. Financial Impact: Minimum rent of $900.00 per month will be paid to the Airports Enterprise Fund. III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background: Wells Fargo intends to use the leased site for auto parking. The lease will provide additional revenue to the Airport's Enterprise Fund. IV. Consequences of Negative Action: The proposed lease will not be executed and additional revenue will not be deposited in the Airport Enterprise Fund.
