Subject: ADVISORY HOUSING COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS
The Advisory Housing Commission of the Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa has seven
Advisory Housing Commissioner positions, five of those positions serve at-large for a four year period
and two positions serve as tenant commissioners for a two year period. On March 31, 1996 two of the
at-large and two tenant commissioner positions will expire.
The two at-large Commissioners serving on the Advisory Housing Commission,whose terms will expire
on March 31, 1996, are:
1. Mr. George T. Brown
22 Ichabod Lane
Orinda, CA 94563
Mr. Brown was originally appointed on August 16, 1988. He was re-appointed, for the
second time, on April 7, 1992.
2. Mr. Richard Lujan
3810 Crestview Drive
Pittsburg, CA 94565
Mr. Lujan was originally appointed on April 29, 1986. He was re-appointed, for the second
time on April 7, 1992.
The two tenant Commissioners serving on the Advisory Housing Commission,whose terms will expire
on March 31, 1996, are:
1. Ms. Julie Medina

Concord, Ca 94521
Ms. Medina was originally appointed on July 21, 1991 to complete an unfinished term. She was
appointed to her first full term on April 7, 1992 and was reappointed for a second term on July 12,
1994.
2. Mrs. Edith Voorhies
2100 Buchanan Road, C-506
Antioch, CA 94509
Mrs. Voorhies was originally appointed on April 18, 1989. She was re-appointed, for the second
time on July 12, 1994.

As requested in your memorandum dated January 24, 1996,we have enclosed completed
applications by each of the Advisory Housing Commission members seeking re-appointment.
Also attached is a copy of the 1993, 1994 and 1995 attendance record for the Advisory Housing
Commission.
Please forward this information on Advisory Housing Commission reappointments to the Internal
Operations Committee for their review and action.
