RECOMMENDED ACTION: APPROVE Project, and FIND that the activity, the improvement of a railroad crossing, will not have a significant effect on the environment, and that it has been determined to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act(CEQA) pursuant to Section 15061 (b)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines, and DIRECT the Director of Community Development to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk, and DIRECT the Public Works Director to arrange for payment of the $25.00 handling fee to the County Clerk for filing of the Notice of Exemption. II. FINANCIAL IMPACT: The estimated project cost is$60,000, funded by Transportation Development Act (100%). REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND: The project includes improving the railroad crossing across Delta Road to increase the ease of crossing the railroad tracks with a bicycle. It is needed to facilitate bicycle traffic on Delta Road. IV.
