Cox, et al,for County Civic Center purposes, a residence and 3,500 s.f. office building located at 1114 Court Street and 920 Mellus Street, Martinez, being the real property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for$501,000.00, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Purchase Agreement between Contra Costa County and James E. Cox, et al, which is a fair and reasonable price therefor. A copy of said agreement is on file in the Public Works Department. This Board will meet on April 23, 1996, at 9:45 a.m. in the Board's Chambers, County Administration Building, Martinez, California, to consummate this purchase and the Clerk of this Board is DIRECTED to publish the Notice of Intention herein, in the Contra Costa Times pursuant to Government Code Section 6063. This Board hereby FINDS that the proposed acquisition will not have a significant effect on the environment, and that it has been determined to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act under State CEQA guidelines Section 15061(b)(3). This Board DIRECTS the Director of Community Development to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk, and DIRECTS the Public Works Director to arrange for payment of the $25.00 handling fee to the County Clerk.
