HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03191996 - C6 V y THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on March 19, 1996 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Rogers, Bishop, DeSaulnier, Torlakson, Smith NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: Authorizing the Public Works Director to Arrange for Correction of Warranty Period Deficiencies, and Authorizing County Counsel to Secure Funds for Completion of Improvements, Subdivision MS 138-90, El Sobrante Area. The Board on October 8, 1991, having approved a Subdivision Agreement with Carlos Valero, for construction of certain improvements in Subdivision MS 138-90, El Sobrante area; and the Board on January 28, 1992, having accepted the improvements as complete and placing the improvements on a warranty period; and The Public Works Director having reported that the developer has failed to satisfactorily complete the warranty work as required by said agreement. The Public Works Director having further recommended that he be authorized to arrange for completing the warranty work (estimated to be $1,000, plus the cost of preparing plans and specifications, solicitation of bids, and administering the contract) using the $1,000 cash deposit (Auditor's Deposit Permit No. 196367, dated September 25, 1991) made by Carlos Valero to help defray the County's cost. - IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the recommendations of the Public Works Director are APPROVED.
