AB 3284 would simply repeal the sunset date of January 1, 1997, thereby leaving these options available to the Board of Supervisors to assist in managing the General Assistance Program. Since the enactment of AB 3284 would provide the Board of Supervisors additional options for the management of the General Assistance Program, it is recommended that the Board indicate its support of AB 3284. cc: County Administrator Social Service Director County Counsel Les Spahnn Heim, Noack, Kelly & Spahnn 1121 L Street, Suite 100 Sacramento, CA 95814 -2- w , CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE-1995-96 REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLY BILL No. 3254 Introduced by Assembly Member Davis February 23, 1996 An act to amend Section 17001.5 of the Welfare and Institutions Code, relating to public social services.
