MICHAEL WALFORD, CHIEF ENGINEER DATE: July 11, 1995 SUBJECT: Approve Addendum No. 1 for the Pacheco Blvd. Frontage Improvements Project Project No. 0662-6R4276-94 Specific Request(s) or Recommendation(s) & Background & Justification I. RECOMMENDED ACTION: APPROVE prior issuance of Addendum No. 1 for the Pacheco Blvd. Frontage Improvements Project. II. FINANCIAL IMPACT: The estimated contract cost of the project is $270,000, funded by Shell Oil Company (100%). There is no change caused by this Addendum. III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND: On June 6, 1995, the Board of Supervisors approved plans and specifications for this project. This addendum is required to clarify the Notice to Contractors and Proposal and Contract. IV. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Failure to correct the Notice to Contractors and Proposal and Contract may lead to a significant delay in completion of the project and additional costs.
