HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06061995 - D2 D. 2 BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on June 6, 1995 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Rogers, Smith, DeSaulnier, Torlakson and Bishop NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: Hearing on Proposed Abatement of Real Property at 3460 Sandmound Boulevard, Oakley Area. This is the time heretofore noticed for hearing on the proposed abatement of real property at 3460 Sandmound Boulevard, Oakley area, Jonathan Scheitel, owner. Henry Cox, Building Inspection Department, presented the staff report on the matter explaining that the property is being used as a recreational vehicle park with no permits of record, and is therefore, in violation of land use regulations as well as building code ordinances . He requested that jurisdiction be granted to the Building Inspection Department to abate the nuisance of the property if the property owner does not have the violations corrected within the next forty-five days . John Coker, 525 Marina Boulevard, Pittsburg, representing Jonathan Scheitel, commented on the recreational vehicle park not being a nuisance and that it is character with the area, and that the problem was a permitting problem. Supervisor Torlakson moved to continue the matter for thirty days and requested a report from staff as to whether the owner has filed applications and paid fees to follow through on the permits . IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the hearing on the above matter is continued to July 11, 1995, at 11 a.m. in the Board Chambers .
