CLERK BOARD OF SUPERVII ORS
CONTRA COSTA CO. r w y
The Honorable Gayle Bishop, Chair
Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors
651 Pine Street
Martinez, CA 94553
Dear Supervisor Bishop:
On February 27, 1995, I sent a letter to the Board of Supervisors requesting a General Plan Study
and a Minor Adjustment to the Urban Limit Line at the Geldermann property in San Ramon.
On April 3, l learned by way of a telephone call from a reporter for the Tri Valley Herald, that
the request was to be considered by the Board of Supervisors the next day. At that time I told the
reporter that I could not comment except to say that I had not received the staff report as of the
day before the item was scheduled.
Later the same day, she called back to say that the request was rescheduled for possibly May 2,
or May 9. I never received notice of the Agenda from county staff. Jim Cutler did call to
apologize and stated that there had been a mix-up with the County Clerk's office.
When, once again I heard from the same reporter that the item was scheduled, I left a message for
Mr. Cutler that we needed to talk because I had not had time to discuss the staff report with my
client.
The item was heard by the Board of Supervisors on May 9, since I did not have notice I decided
not to attend the meeting. The Board denied the request.
This is a request on behalf of Corrie Development,to the Contra Costa County Board of
Supervisors, to reconsider their denial of our previous request on February 27, 1995,to direct the
Community Development Director to initiate a study for a General Plan Amendment and a minor
adjustment to the Urban Limit Line.

None of the issues discussed by us in the February 27, letter were discussed in the staff report
and we were unable to present supporting information. Please note, this is only a request to
conduct a study, not an application for entitlements. As before, we would propose to meet with
you and County staff to discuss this request. Thank you for your consideration of this request.
Sincerely,
Bryan & Murphy, Gorman & Associates, Inc.
