II. Financial Impact:
$500.00 from the Southern Pacific Right of Way Trust Fund.
III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
Mr. and Mrs. Ka own property at 308 Verona Avenue, Danville, adjacent to the former Southern
Pacific right of way. They claim that a thirty-foot section of their redwood fence was destroyed
by a tree falling from County-owned property. In consideration of$500 as compensation for the
damaged fence, the Kas waive all further claims against the County for property damages.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
The County will be exposed to potentially greater losses.
